The San Francisco 49ers activated outside linebacker Aldon Smith to the 53-man roster on Wednesday. Smith was granted an exemption from the roster when he left the team for rehab following an DUI arrested in the fall. Smith recently returned to the team and is deemed ready to play by most, so it makes sense that he'd be added to the roster official. There's no evidence that Madden NFL 23 will issue any suspension because of the self-imposed punishment given by the 49ers.
