Well who knows what 2011 will bring? Good things I do imagine.
Personnel...Some changes in our roster..a couple of new additions to the team. Not certain yet who they will be as we are trying to recruit for positions. Our focus is on pitching and infield, as Jeff Weaver and Benedict-Zilla have left us. HEY..!!! Who said that?? I cannot tell a lie, David did. Anyway, a guy has to expect a little guff, for up and leaving Geritol for a "More competitive team."
Alex Keffler has signed on to pitch for us and we feel fortunate to have him. Alex has played with us many times and looks just as proud in pink as the rest of us. We have feelers out for another pitcher, as Alex will miss some games to watch his sons play ball
Bats: We will have all the bats we had last year and a couple of new ones to try out. I believe we have added an Easton Salvo, a Brett Helmer SRV3, a Louisville Z1000, and a Demarini Phoenix to our inventory.
It looks like we have enough guys to play league again this year. I do not know if there will be enough teams to have a "B" Division. We need to have 6 teams in order to do that. We will play upper C, again if there is no B.
