We will be posting tournament updates and brackets as they fill. The new fields are a year older and more mature. We have the opportunity to play games on the new 2-plex, to the south of the 5-plex. Last year the tournament filled and we had to turn several teams away. We will have more room this year if needed.
To each of the teams that made the trip to Missoula last year, you have my eternal gratitude. You were a hardy bunch and I have appreciation and respect for all of you who stuck around for Sunday morning. The Parks and Rec. Crew had the fields ready to play and Sunday was a beautiful day. Thank you for being there bright and early.
A tournament rainout is a terrible thing. We made the best of it on the one good day the Softball Gods gave us. I thank the teams and players for that.
The Thompson/Corr tournament has always been a 5-game guarantee. If we only get in three games because of weather, we will reimburse teams for each game not played. I feel if teams travel to Missoula and the fields are unusable, then in good conscience, we cannot charge teams for fields that can’t be played on.
